We Are The Hills (CZ)

We Are The Hills is a young Prague band that tries to introduce something new to its listeners. They base their music on gender-balanced vocals, which create a pleasant melodic synthesis, into which elements of alternative rock, indie, but also folk creep in. They consider the Irish The Frames, Kodaline or the band Kensington to be their role models. Since their foundation in the summer of 2016, the band has managed to release one EP and several singles. During their existence, they have had the honor of supporting several foreign artists, such as Blackout Problems (DE), Ducking Punches (UK), Spanish Love Songs (US) or Kensington Road (DE). One of their successes is winning the university band competition and subsequently playing at the Prague Majáles 2017 itself.

The band also performed at the United Islands of Prague festival, for the first time in 2017, thanks to votes from fans, and in 2018, when the band was chosen by the organizers themselves. In the summer of 2019, she made her debut at the iconic Mighty Sounds festival and is now back after a break of several years.
