Střešovická kramle is a group with a demanding lineup of about nine instruments and one or more voices. It first made itself known at the beginning of the second half of the 1980s, where the roots of several main compositions that are still played at concerts today (e.g. Příšera) can be found.
Gradually, additional members were added, most of whom had a background in visual art. Together, they created two albums: After the Wedding (2017) and 9 leknínů (2023). The band has performed in Berlin, London, Vienna, Brno, Prague and other smaller cities. In terms of genre, the band's musical (and essentially also performative) expression moves on the border between punk, underground, hardcore, metal, but also towards electronic music and pop. An important part are the lyrics, which reflect current events in society and environmental topics with specific irony.
