Nomad Disco (CZ)

Nomad Disco formed in the fall of 2022 in foggy Prague and mix post-punk with alternative rock and metal, creating a progressive and dark sound.

The debut album Pressure Island (2023) thematically deals with escape from reality, migration, digital prison and war propaganda. Deep, mystical vocals are complemented by dissonant guitars and energetic rhythms of bass and drums.

The American The Big Takeover praised the "shimmering guitar tones and unyielding bass lines in the style of The Cure" (Napoli) and the "chill of Joy Division" (Coma), while Despair compared it to the dance-rock rhythms of Killing Joke. Obscure Sound (US) mentioned Coma as "a reminder of the darkest positions of Interpol" and Torture Room with menacing guitars and haunting vocals of A Perfect Circle. The band is currently working on a new album and is already presenting some of the new songs live.
