Fernando Brox (ES)

Born in Malaga, Spain, Fernando Brox embarked on a journey from classical music to jazz and modern genres. Graduating from the Conservatorio Superior de Málaga in 2010, he has since collaborated with renowned musicians such as Jorge Rossy, Jeff Ballard or Shai Maestro, among others. As a leader, he has spearheaded projects like the Fernando Brox Quartet, Quintet and Sextet. He has released four albums: From Within (2024, Fresh Sound Records) Factor Humano (2020, The Changes) Broxila (2020) and Secreto (2017, Underpool) while also contributing his skills to various national and international endeavors. An accomplished educator, he has innovated teaching methods, notably with the development of the G.A.T (Triangular Harmonic Generator). Following his participation in the prestigious Focusyear program at the Jazz Campus in Basel, Switzerland, he completed a Master's in Composition under Professor Guillermo Klein's guidance. Residing in Switzerland, Brox remains an active collaborator in local and international projects, showcasing his commitment to musical excellence and exploration. He is currently preparing the release of his next album, planned for this year.
