United Islands of Prague and Metronome Prague festival, in collaboration with a dozen embassies, are joining to commemorate the third anniversary of the unacceptable and inexcusable invasion of Ukraine by Russia. They are calling on all those who are not indifferent to Russia’s aggression to come to the Russian Embassy on Ukrainských hrdinů Street at 5 pm on Monday.
The Noise for Ukraine concert will take place on Monday, February 24, at 5 PM and will last about ninety minutes. It is a loud and resolute expression of our opposition to Russia’s aggression and a tribute to the Ukrainian heroes who, for the past three years, have been fighting not only for Ukraine’s freedom but for the freedom of us all.
A diverse musical lineup brings together rappers Vladimir 518 and Mike T, bands Už jsme doma, Zooblasters, Circus Problem and Obrben, as well as singer-songwriters from Ukraine Nazar Ivanyshyn and Igor Yeromichev.
Jointly convened by the United Islands of Prague and Metronome Prague festivals, Noise for Ukraine is organized in collaboration with distinguished partners from the international community, the political sphere, and local civic and cultural organizations. This event joins other initiatives, civic and cultural activities that will take place on Monday throughout the day.
