Meluzína (CZ)

Meluzína is an indie-pop band from Ústí nad Labem, crafting melancholic music with Czech lyrics. Active on the music scene for over two years, the band has performed alongside notable acts such as Tolstoys, Květy, Panoptikum, and Rekreace.

In March 2025, Meluzína released its debut single, Hlasy Meluzín, produced by Jan Brambůrek at Tajné Studio in Ústí nad Labem. The track is currently competing in Startér on Radio Wave. The visual concept for the single was created in collaboration with UMPRUM students Julie Kyryljuk and Viktor Klemša.

The band's name is inspired by the legend of the mythological figure Meluzína, a fairy who influences their artistic vision and appears in their debut single. According to the band, Meluzína comes and goes like the wind in your hair—elusive, ever-changing, yet always present. Her melodies flow gently between melancholy and joy, capturing the feeling of time standing still.
