Lydia Ford (IE)

Lydia Ford is an indie pop artist from the west coast of Ireland. Inspired by pop-punk icon Avril Lavigne, she picked up the guitar at just nine years old and soon began writing songs in her bedroom, laying the foundation for her distinct sound.

Her music has since gained national airplay in Ireland, with features on BBC Radio 1 and major US publications like Billboard and Uproxx. She has performed at Other Voices and Ireland Music Week, while her songs have been featured on the UK TV show Made in Chelsea and global Spotify playlists such as New Music Friday UK and New Music Friday Deutschland.

After steadily releasing a string of standout singles since 2019, Ford’s long-awaited debut album, Faking It, arrived in 2023, marking a defining moment in her career. A deeply personal yet universally relatable record, Faking It explores themes of self-doubt, growth, and resilience, wrapped in a sound that resonates with fans of Maisie Peters, Fickle Friends, and Phoebe Bridgers.

Now, with a renewed sense of purpose and creative energy, Lydia is gearing up to release new music in 2025. As she steps into this next chapter, her sound is set to evolve—deepening the emotional resonance and melodic charm that have defined her journey so far.
