Kosmos (PL)

Kosmos is a mixture of yass, hip-hop and improvised music. The quintet, creating its own sound world by combining acoustic instruments with electronics, has become one of the most interesting young jazz projects in Poland.

Kosmos in its current form debuted in December 2022. The band regularly performs throughout Poland and draws attention to itself, including being awarded a prize in the JAZZiNSPIRACJE competition during the 13th Lublin Jazz Festival or winning the first edition of the WesJazz Competition. Kosmos represents the new wave of polish jazz music, as evidenced by its presence on ,,Generacja JAZZ” , a compilation album released by U Know Me Records.

The band's debut album titled “Kosmos” was released in June 2024 on the Audio Cave label. The album was very positively reviewed by critics, acclaimed as one of the most interesting debuts of the year.
