Slovak cimbalist and double bassist Ľubomír Gašpar is a classically trained musician with a rich background spanning classical music, jazz, and world music. He is the recipient of the Radio_Head Award for his album The Point of View. Gašpar collaborates with top domestic and international artists from various musical genres (Roby Lakatos Ensemble, SOLE, Julia Kozakova - Manuša, Ľubomír Gašpar Cimbal Project). His multi-genre direction is also reflected in his original compositions, which are colorful and diverse. During the concert, he will showcase the cimbalom as a unique solo instrument full of contrasts and colors.

Musical phenomenon Adam Ben Ezra, a multi-instrumentalist and outstanding double bassist, gained worldwide recognition with his double bass solo in the video Can’t Stop Running, which he recorded in his living room. The video has been viewed by over a million people worldwide. Music critics agree that he is a unique double bassist, whose virtuosity is enhanced by his ability to blend various sounds and moods into his music in an original way.

Adam Ben Ezra creates a unique blend of beatboxing, singing, recording various instruments into loops, and then modulating them with effects, all complemented by his brilliant virtuosity on the double bass.

You will have the opportunity to experience the unique collaboration of these two multi-instrumental artists, Adam Ben Ezra and Ľubomír Gašpar, in their new project "Stretching Strings." Both artists push the limits of their instruments. The concert will feature a unique musical conversation between diverse instruments such as the double bass, cimbalom, piano, Armenian Caval, percussion, looper, and electronics, touching on their musical roots. They will perform their own compositions and arrangements inspired by Arabic, Jewish, Romani, Slovak, Flamenco music, and more. The performance will be dynamic, virtuosic, with a touch of showmanship, yet deep and meditative at the same time.
