Enchanted Hunters consist of Małgorzata Penkalla and Magdalena Gajdzica, two female singer-songwriters and composers. They have been working together since 2011. They released two full-length albums to critical acclaim. First one, Peoria (2012) has an organic, almost folky feel, with unexpected vocal harmonies taking center stage. Second one, Dwunasty dom (2019) is an esoteric mix of synth-pop and r’n’b. Although stylistically different, both albums are shaped by the same need - for elegant song structures, crafty compositions, lyrical rawness and fragility and a sense of eeriness.
Apart from their studio work and live performances, they write music for films and theatre and collaborate with other independent polish or foreign acts. Along with Resina, Enchanted Hunters arranged Michał Biela’s album, remixed Baasch, worked with Wczasy, performed with Laetitia Sadier of Stereolab. At the moment they are working with different independent projects (Penkalla with Róża, Gajdzica with Mitch&Mitch). They happily contribute to polish independent music scene and are proud members of it.
