The Irish duo Tebi Rex presents a fresh breeze of rap and R&B. The contrast between rapper Max Zanga and singer Matt O’Baoill, who, however, also does not avoid rap, works perfectly in the summer melodies of alternative pop as well in darker trap rhythms. Both of their albums are narratives with a specific theme, while the first The Yung Will Eat The Old is inspired by Greek mythology and the second It’s Gonna Be Okay focuses on the home environment of modern Ireland, racism, death, anxiety, austerity and social media. Tebi Rex have taken a step towards world popularity. Come and see it's deserved.
